Creating a Rule to Reroute Everyone E-mail

The "Everyone" e-mail list is a high volume list that all VLS e-mail users are permanently subscribed to. While it is a matter of policy that e-mail users receive these messages, it is a popular choice to reroute these messages to a more suitable location for later reading or management. The instructions for this are below:
  1. Add a folder
In the Folder List, click Add Folder. Type a name in the Folder Name box. ( use "Everyone E-Mail" if you want). Select the place in the Folder List where you want to add the folder. By default, the folder will be added as the first folder in the Cabinet. For example, to add a folder at the same level as the Mailbox folder, select the Down button next to the Mailbox folder. To add a folder to the Mailbox folder, select the Right button next to the Mailbox folder. Click OK.
  2. Create a Rule
From the GroupWise WebAccess main window, click the Options icon (top, center button). Click Rules. Select Move to Folder as the type of rule you want to create.
  3. Click Create to display the Create Rule form.
    - Type the name you want to use for the rule. Names can include any characters, including spaces.
    - Next, define the conditions as follows, using the drop down boxes:
       If From Contains Everyone
For the action, select the destination folder you created above (Everyone E-mail).
  4. - By default, the rule is automatically activated. If you don't want the rule active at this time, deselect the rule's Activate box.
  5. Click Save to save the rule to the Rules list.
  6. Click Close.
When you create a rule, GroupWise WebAccess stores it in your GroupWise Mailbox at your post office. Whether you log in to your Mailbox through GroupWise WebAccess or another version of the GroupWise client, you always have the same rules.
