Order Updates2007 Laptop Purchase ProgramThe VLS Laptop Purchase Program is available to incoming VLS students. We will purchase the below laptop on your behalf, configure it with the software you will need during law school and provide three years of hardware support (through DELL and/or VLS) and one year of software support free.Delivery Information: IT will contact you when your computer is ready. Dell is having difficulties with the LCD panel supplier for the D630 laptops. The production and shipping of your laptop has been delayed. Please bear with us as we attempt to get an ETA from Dell on the arrival of your laptop. IT will contact you with a new delivery date as soon as we have one from Dell. The first deadline for computer purchases is July 1 and the last deadline is the first day of classes. Late orders will not be available by the first day of classes. ** About Vista The VLS IT department does NOT recommend MS Vista at this time. We will not support MS Vista. The systems we have selected will support MS Vista in your second year of law school, though if you plan to upgrade to Vista at any point we recommend 2 GB of RAM.
